“Meditations & Observations:” is an editorial, concerted effort to collate and collect interesting ideas and to expand on them. It is sponsored by GRIT Pictures.

A modus operandi, a methodology, a manifesto.
In the hyper connected world, any one can become a flaneur or a aspiring philosopher, we live in an age of unprecedented information.
Downsides: -Too much noise :: Not enough time :: Tweets : considered short form :: Blog/essay : long.
No middle ground for orthogonal insight and content. A new social media consciousness is emerging. Dense & communicates ideas effectively, one that delivers that information. Quick, short, condensed format.
An reactionary inversion. Upcoming generation already check phones constantly. Constantly engaged, there is a competition for attention.
We recognise the demand for novel insight that can be consumed without ever increasing investment. More tailored than your tweet storms, yet still retaining that raw intuitive feel.
Authors want: -A place to throw out good ideas. -Tinker and expand these seeded ideas. -Receive feedback & optimise. -Quick prototyping. -Agile ideology applied to fleshing out thought itself. -Open sourcing ideas.
The People want : -Obscure insight :: Orthogonal. -Time saving, in terms of bang for buck and investment. -High idea density. -The abstract and bleeding edge. -High latency insight to stay competitive in the information economy. -Low barriers to entry, lower investments to stay competitive.
Submission criteria: - 1000 words MAX, high density. - Obscure, orthogonal ideas, concepts & analysis - Aesthetic
Not short form, not long. Just right.
Modus Operandi : Meditations & Observations : Obscure & Orthogonal Ideas & Analysis.
